BRICKS and Canadian education: we speak the same language as your child's teachers

Ontario Science and Technology Curriculum

Our projects are integrated into key curriculum areas: Structures and Mechanisms, Matter and Energy, Coding and Emerging Technologies. Theory is immediately reinforced with practice.

British Columbia ADST Curriculum

BRICKS projects are fully aligned with the Applied Design, Applied Skills, and Applied Technologies strands, providing hands-on learning of the curriculum.

Alberta Career and Technology Studies (CTS)

Your child will master key modules ELT1010, CSE1110, MEC1010 by creating real devices that reinforce technical skills in the field.

Pan-Canadian K-12 Computer Science Framework

The program develops critical skills for the future: computational thinking, technological literacy, and innovative design.

"As a 15-year veteran teacher, I was amazed at how seamlessly BRICKS complements the school curriculum. What we try to explain to children in class for months, they understand in a few sessions when they see these principles in action."
Catherine M., Technology Teacher, Toronto

Igniting the spark of genius: how BRICKS transforms your child's future

Thinking Worth Its Weight in Gold

Your child will learn to see complex problems as engaging puzzles. They will develop an "engineering intuition" and learn to find multiple solutions to a problem.

Programming Without Fear

Algorithmic thinking is a key skill for the future. BRICKS helps children naturally develop this skill.

STEM Skills in Action

Math and physics become practical tools that kids use in real-world projects. They will learn to see the connections between different areas of knowledge.

From Uncertainty to Mastery

Successfully completing work projects builds lasting self-confidence. The experience of overcoming technical challenges builds strength of character.

"BRICKS does what I couldn't achieve in 15 years of teaching: children see the immediate practical application of abstract concepts from the Pan-Canadian Global Competencies Framework. This is not just learning - it's a moment of enlightenment when a child suddenly understands why they need this math or physics."
Dr. James Morrison, educational technology researcher, University of Alberta

Benefits for parents

What every parent dreams of: BRICKS makes your life easier

Family time that will be remembered forever

Instead of fighting video games, create robots together with your child. Such moments of joint creativity will become precious memories, and you yourself will unconsciously master modern technologies.

Sleep peacefully as a parent confident in your child's future

While other parents worry about the future, your child is already mastering in-demand skills. You will always understand modern technologies and be able to help with homework.

End the battle over gadgets and useless entertainment

Gadgets become educational tools, not entertainment. Building robots is more exciting than just playing, and every minute with BRICKS is an investment in the future.

Supporting academic success without extra effort

BRICKS hands-on projects naturally complement the school curriculum and increase interest in math, physics, and computer science. What other children learn in weeks, your child will understand in practice.

"With the advent of BRICKS, my son himself asks to go to the computer - to work on his robot! His grades in the exact sciences have noticeably improved, and the teacher even asked what the secret was."
Anna K., mother of 10-year-old Mark, Vancouver

Success Stories

Story 1: How a Robot Saved Family Evenings

avatar

"Our son Jacob (9 years old) was a classic 'screen kid' - constantly on his phone or tablet. We tried everything: restrictions, rules, rewards... Nothing worked. BRICKS became our savior! Now we spend evenings creating robots together. Recently, his teacher called us to ask what happened - Jacob suddenly became a star in math and science projects in his class!"

Story 2: When the Daughter Surpassed the Engineer Father

Questions and Answers

Answers to the questions already swirling in your head

Payment plan is your variant of access to our educational course. There are three options: Demo Lesson, 1 Lesson, Theme, and Course. To make the right choice, consider how long you plan to use our services, time you can dedicate to robotics, and the level you aim to achieve.

We do our best to provide user-friendly access to our courses. You can easily switch between them. For instance, if you have purchased one payment plan, you can upgrade it by paying the difference in their prices. Please note that there is no possibility to downgrade a payment plan, so no refunds will be made.

All our courses are available through the browser you use. Once you have selected your payment plan and made the required payment, you will receive an email with login data. Enter the login and password into the respective fields of our website and get your individual access to the selected course or lesson.

To program your robot, you will need the official Lego app: LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Robot Inventor.

However, our developers are currently working on a specialized educational app. It will be particularly convenient for corporate use at schools and other educational institutions. For instance, you will manage the creation of students’ accounts (for group learning), adjust their schedule, and track the students’ performance. Tutor’s and student’s desktop apps will share presentations on all the connected devices. This app will allow you to manage evaluational tests.

Yes, you will need the official Lego app LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Robot Inventor to program your robot. Web version is enough to complete any offered course and assemble any featured robot only without programming. In the future, we may introduce an app for better user experience. But so far, our superfunctional web platform contains the full functionality of Bricks educational courses.

Robotics incorporated in the school education encourages students to develop the interests and talents required in today’s job market. It also provides the interactivity necessary to bring any school program in step with the times. Thus, Bricks can make the course you offer more attractive to students and their parents.
Bricks offer more than robotics only. It develops your STEM skills and knowledge (science, technology, engineering, and math). While assembling robots according to our course instructions, you will develop the academic skills of these four disciplines.
Even if we abstract ourselves from the practical skills and knowledge our courses can give your child (programming, engineering, physics, and more), it is still a fun and exciting way to develop creativity and innovative ideas. When your child learns to assemble several robots, they will be able to create their own programmed moving mechanisms.
All the robots featured on the respective page of this website are available to Bricks’ students. From time to time, we may add new offerings. Whenever it happens, new robots will appear on this website so that you don’t miss the opportunity to keep on learning.
We encourage our students to develop their skills using any available materials. Still, the educational program we offer guides you through the process. It develops your robot-building skill in the logical order, i.e., from the simplest to the most complicated topic. Besides, Bricks allows you to track your progress and check your level by filling in self-check quizzes. You won’t get stuck on an unsolvable problem because even if you encounter a challenging issue, our Support Team will be there to help you 24/7. Last but not least, a broad online community is an exciting way to discuss a robot or its specific part.
We were all once newbies. Very soon, you will feel the power of creative engineering. We recommend you to start with Simple One. It does not contain all the available features (like our Goliath) but it offers a straightforward introduction to the world of robotics. Thus, you will evaluate your skills and see which of them require development. If you are motivated to start from something more challenging, you could look through our courses and select the appropriate level.
Our robots are assembled of a basic Lego set, although some (the most exquisite ones like Goliath) require purchasing additional elements. Meanwhile, you can always disassemble your robot and create another one of the same set. A disassembled Goliath allows you to create virtually any possible robot. But a disassembled Simple One will require additional components for the same purpose.
Despite that the answer may depend on your STEM level, we advise you to start with our demo lesson. It will give you a comprehensive idea of how Bricks education works and the payment plan that will be best for you. Upon the completion of the demo lesson, choose your payment plan, select the preferred robot set, and immerse yourself in the world of robotics.

We offer a unique educational program that will teach you how to assemble robots and program their actions. Upon the completion of several courses (the actual number depends on your previous skills and diligence), you’ll know how to assemble your own unique robots. The more robots you assemble the higher the chance you will invent your own one.

Meanwhile, you will need to purchase LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime Set to build most of our robots. The most complex and exquisite models will require LEGO Education SPIKE Prime Expansion Set.

If you would like to download a free demo lesson, please add this product to your cart and press the button. Once the order is submitted, we will send you a letter with login data to the email address you indicated while making the order. Use these login and password to enter the system and access your personal user area.
